The Sun is now in Taurus tropically until May 20. Taurus is ruled by Venus, drawing us toward love, sensuality, security, and practical matters. The next three weeks ahead invite us to plant flowers and vegetables, to seed projects, and to tend and grow our finances.
The Moon reaches is fullness on Saturday, March 2, at 11 degrees of Scorpio. This Full Moon will amplify passions and desires. Consider making a greater commitment to a relationship. When the Moon is in Scorpio, we desire some solitude in addition to closeness, so plan for some time for yourself.
Uranus moves into Gemini at 5:51 p.m. PDT Saturday, April 25, for a seven-year stay in the mutable air sign. Various innovative methods of communication will be discovered and amplified. The next two years especially, with Pluto in Aquarius making a trine to Uranus in Gemini, numerous inventions in technology and communication will emerge. Big social problems could be solved with sudden, creative ideas.

This Week:
Saturday, April 25, the Moon is in Leo. Uranus moves into Gemini for a new seven-year period at 5:51 p.m. PDT. The Moon is void of course all day until 6:04 p.m. PDT, meaning it is a good day to focus on insignificant tasks and activities rather than things requiring decision and connection. With the Moon in Leo, you can take this day easy, and play. Do something fun with your children or grandchildren, or engage in something that taps your creative self-expression.
Sunday and Monday, April 26-27, the Moon is in Virgo. This is the time of the month to efficiently clean up and take care of tasks on your “to do” list. The Moon’s invitation these days is to get your life in order. Sunday Mercury squares Jupiter, inviting us to envision what we want and who you want to meet, and the steps it will take to manifest them. On Monday the Sun sextiles the North Node, inviting us to move forward on our True North path. The Moon is void of course again all day Monday, from 4:11 a.m. through Tuesday at 2:02 a.m. Again, this is a time to read, garden, or take care of small, insignificant matters.
Tuesday through midday Thursday, April 28-30, the Moon is in Libra. Venus trines Pluto, fueling love and desire. On Thursday the Moon inconjuncts Uranus, making us feel excited, but perhaps a little off balance. Minor obstacles may be getting in the way of our heart’s desire.
Thursday midday through Saturday, April 30-May 2, the Moon is in Scorpio. Saturday, May 2, sports a Full Moon at 11 degrees of Scorpio. The Scorpio Moon Full Moon is full of strong feelings and desire. Be willing to receive. Saturday evening Mercury enters Taurus where it will focus our attention on practical, sensual matters through May 16. Since Mercury loves to read and experiment, and Taurus loves to please the senses, including good food, this combination invites a time to check out a new cookbook and stretch yourself to try some new dishes, or take a cooking class. Or make a playlist of your favorite music.
Sunday through Tuesday midday, May 3-5, the Moon is in Sagittarius. There’s a bounce in your step and you are inspired and ready for adventure. A lot can be accomplished on Monday, May 4.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
