In the Stars November 23-30, 2025 . . . Shining Light on the Astrology of the Week

The Sun moved into Sagittarius on Friday, November 21. There are a lot of positive, social aspects in the coming week and beyond. It is going to be a sizzling holiday season of opportunity.
Mercury is retrograde for one more week until November 29. Garner the time for reviewing, rethinking, revising, and redoing. There may be some technological and mechanical breakdowns. Communication mix-ups, mistakes, and delays are also common, so be patient and forgiving.
Saturn is slowing down, getting ready to turn direct in motion November 27. Now five planets are retrograde: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. With so many planets retrograde we may feel more restrained, but by November 30 Mercury and Saturn will be direct.
There is a beneficial Grand Water Trine pattern holding for the next two plus weeks until December 10. Mercury is in Scorpio; Saturn is in Pisces (as well as Neptune a few degrees further); and Jupiter is in Cancer. If you have planets or angles at 24-29 degrees of any of these water signs, you will be boosted by this grand trine energy.

The Week Ahead:
Saturday, November 22, the Moon moves through the last degrees of Sagittarius. The Moon trines Uranus, generating serendipity, disruptions, or surprises. Sagittarius loves the outdoors, and loves hiking and biking. Make it an active day! Sagittarius also gives optimism and swiftness, so get those weekend chores done quickly and enjoy the day.
Saturday afternoon (2:52 pm PT) through Monday, November 22-24, the Moon is in Capricorn. These are productive days. Address responsibilities. Orient yourself toward your goals and plan to get a lot accomplished. On Monday Mercury and Venus conjunct, making it a social day as well as an industrious one.
Tuesday through Thursday morning (11:23 am PST), November 25-27, the Moon is in Aquarius. You will want to engage with friends and acquaintances, generating a good backdrop for Thanksgiving festivities. Aquarius loves people! This is a time to consider your holiday giving. Aquarius is concerned with humanitarian endeavors. Saturn moves direct in motion on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day. There may be a serious, dutiful tone cast over the day, good for eating and drinking in moderation.
Thursday afternoon through Saturday (5:06 pm PST), November 27-29, the Moon is in Pisces. Dream a little, and express your creative talents. On the 29th, Saturday, Mercury turns direct at 20 degrees of Scorpio, a point known for brilliance. There is a supportive lineup of aspects to the Moon. Venus opposes Uranus, so there may be some surprises.
Saturday evening through Monday, November 29-December 1, the Moon is in Aries. Sunday, November 30 Venus moves into Sagittarius, joining Mars and the Sun. This bundle in Sagittarius invites connect. Get out and be social! Be bold!

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
