In the Stars September 20-27, 2026 . . . Shining Light on the Astrology of the Week

There are still a couple of days to employ the efficient, organizing energies of the Virgo Sun. On Tuesday, September 22, the Sun moves into Libra. The focus for the month ahead with the Sun in Libra will be on partnerships, balance, negotiations, and harmony.
There is only one long void-of-course Moon period in the daytime hours of the coming week: Wednesday, September 23: 1:18 am-8:23 pm (Moon into Pisces). When the Moon is void it is not making a major aspect with other planets, and thus, not much is happening. We have a hard time making up our minds about matters, and meetings and connections often do not come together. These times are best for tending to routine tasks and doing things like gardening, reading, or processing email.

This Week:
Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, the Moon is in Capricorn. These productive weekend days invite yard cleanup or work at home. On Sunday Venus inconjuncts Uranus; there may be disruptions and a change of plans.
Monday through Wednesday, September 21-23, the Moon is in Aquarius. Our attention turns to global issues and social causes, as well as friendships. Monday Mercury makes a benefic sextile to Jupiter. You may talk too much or overextend yourself in some way. Consider limitations and boundaries. On Tuesday, September 22, the Sun ingresses into Libra. This is the Fall Equinox, when day and night are equal, marking the beginning of autumn.
Thursday and Friday, September 24-25, the Moon is in Pisces. These are days for expressing your creativity, and accessing intuition and inspiration. On Thursday the Pisces Moon trines Venus in Scorpio, giving a satisfying day of good feelings.
Saturday and Sunday, September 26-27, the Moon is in Aries. On Saturday, September 26, the Moon perfects as a Full Moon at 3 degrees Aries, connecting with Mars, Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus. This is an invitation to get involved with global political and social issues. On Sunday Mars enters Leo where the planet of action will be dynamic and bolder, inviting us to be more passionate and assertive. This weekend the Sun forms a kite pattern with Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. It forms a Grand Air Trine with Pluto and Uranus, sparking grand, innovative ideas. The Sun opposes Neptune, stirring up doubt and lack of clarity. With these opposing forces operating, it would be a good idea to slowly and carefully consider ideas and action plans, but not be blinded or gripped with indecision.
Planetary Pointers for the week ahead:
· Collaborate and cooperate and work on relationship issues.
· Consider grand, innovative ideas.
· With the Fall Equinox, and the equalness of day and night, bring your life into better balance.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
