In the Stars September 13-20, 2026 . . . Shining Light on the Astrology of the Week

The Sun continues in Virgo until September 22, still inviting us to get our lives in order, dive into our studies, tend to our health, and get tasks done. September is much calmer on the planetary front, paving the way for efficient, productive work to be done under the Virgo Sun.
Below are the void-of-course periods this week:
· Sunday, September 13: 7:26 am-11:43 pm (Moon into Scorpio)
· Tuesday, September 15 at 8:29 pm through Wednesday, September 16 at 9:41 am (Moon into Sagittarius)
· Friday, September 18: 1:43 pm-9:54 pm (Moon into Capricorn)
When the Moon is void it is not making a major aspect with other planets, and thus, not much is happening. We have a hard time making up our minds about matters, and meetings and connections often do not come together. These times are best for tending to routine tasks and doing things like gardening, reading, or processing email.

This Week:
Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, the Moon is in Libra. We turn our attention to relationships. The Moon and Mercury conjunct in Libra, inviting you to connect with special people who light up your life. On Saturday you will want to have deep, inspiring, non-ordinary conversations (Mercury trine Pluto and Mercury opposite Neptune). Mercury is trine Uranus, inviting brilliant ideas, and unexpected encounters. These planets form a powerful air Grand Trine with Pluto, making it easy to communicate, write, and generate ideas. We will benefit from this combination of mental agility for several days.
Monday and Tuesday, September 14-15, the Moon is in Scorpio. Monday is a day with strong planetary support. The Moon conjuncts Venus in early Scorpio, heightening passion and desire. You may feel like it is time to let go of something that you have previously valued. The Sun makes an opportune sextile with Mars. These are days to engage deeply in your work and solve challenging problems.
Wednesday through Friday, September 16-18, the Moon is in Sagittarius. These are optimistic days for adventure. On Wednesday our desires may feel stronger than our capacity to fulfill them. On Thursday the Moon trines Jupiter, giving faith, trust, and confidence. Friday the Moon reaches its first quarter phase. It can feel like a busy time with so much to do. Mercury opposes Saturn. While you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of work you have to do, it's time to just get moving on the tasks that most need to be done.
Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, the Moon is in Capricorn. These productive weekend days invite yard cleanup or work at home.
Planetary Pointers for the week ahead:
· Solve problems with brilliant ideas.
· Get your life in good order.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
