The Sun shines in Cancer, highlighting home, family, and tradition. This is a month for gardening, cooking, family picnics, and savoring memories. It is a good month to review and organize your photos.

The Moon is Full on Monday, June 29, at 8:14 degrees of Capricorn, at 4:56 p.m. PDT. This is the degree of the difficult Star Facies, known for aggressive behavior, so think ahead about how you will handle any aggression coming toward you, and how you will keep your cool yourself.

Mars enters Gemini on Sunday, June 28, where it will reside until August 11. Mars will ignite energy for communication, learning, travel, and engaging with siblings. Jupiter enters Leo late Tuesday night (10:52 p.m. PDT) where it will be until July 27, 2027.  Jupiter expands; Jupiter in Leo brings more energy for children, recreation, creativity, speculation, and risk taking. Chiron is at 0 degrees of Taurus. These three planets interact at the early degrees of new signs.

Mars and Jupiter will be in an opportune sextile all of the next week, exact today and tomorrow, June 27-28. This alignment is generous and optimistic, expansive and exuberant. Great strides can be made in whatever you are doing. This is the year of the fire horse, and this week we will be galloping quickly toward our destinations.

Mercury turns retrograde on Monday, June 29, so get your travel plans made, contracts signed, and communication out before the 29th. Tie up loose ends for projects and commitments set in motion. And then, when Mercury turns retrograde, it is time to review, reconsider, revise, and re-work plans and projects. It is a good time to clean up email in your in box, and make repairs.

This Week:

Friday afternoon through Sunday, June 26-28, the Moon is in Sagittarius. Saturday is a glowing day, sporting a glowing Fire Grand Trine with Saturn in Aries, Venus in Leo, and the Moon in Sagittarius, supporting your visions.  Mars sextiles Jupiter, making it easy to accomplish physical tasks. The Moon is void of course all day Sunday, until 12:18 a.m. PDT Monday. Use this meandering, indecisive energy for leisure: read a book, take a hike, or gather for a picnic with friends. Venus is trine to a conjunction of asteroids Pallas Athena and Vesta. This cosmic scenario is an invitation to strong, independent work on a project. This energy will carry over to Monday, so start the work week with a big stride.

Monday through mid-day Wednesday, June 29-July 1, the Moon is in Capricorn. The Moon is Full on Monday, June 29, at 8 degrees of Capricorn. The Full Light of the Moon highlights relationships. The Sabian Symbol for this degree is “A Furious Storm Rage Through a Residential Canyon Filled with Valuable Homes.” Take extra precaution in areas where fires or floods could be a risk. Mercury turns retrograde, so there may be some confusion and mix-ups in the day, and in the days that follow. It is time to turn our attention inward and review, re-think, and revise. The Moon in Capricorn encourages hard work and attention to responsibilities.

Wednesday afternoon through Friday, July 1-3, the Moon is in Aquarius. Jupiter enters Leo on Wednesday, July 1, and where it will be until the next year. Jupiter has an exuberant expression in Leo. The Moon opposes Mercury. Thursday the Moon conjuncts Pluto, churning up intense emotions. Friday and Saturday Mars conjuncts Uranus at 3 degrees of Gemini. Innovative ideas will pour forth. This aspect is good for building, but it is also prone to recklessness, so go mindfully and ponder risks before leaping into anything. Aquarius is a social air sign, inviting us to meet up with friends and acquaintances.

Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5, the Moon is in Pisces. Sunday, July 5 is a golden, dreamy day. Sunday Mars trines Pluto, an excellent aspect for hard work and breakthroughs.  The Pisces Moon offers a gentle, flowing approach to strong work.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
