The Sun shines in Gemini tropically through June 21. Travel, communication, connection, and curiosity are highlighted.
The week begins with a first quarter Moon, building activity and tension, and moving us toward our goals for the month. The week ends on Sunday, May 31, with a Full Moon, a blue Moon, the second Full Moon in the month. Relationships are highlighted and the period for starting new projects reaches its peak

This Week:
Saturday and Sunday, May 23-24, the Moon is in Virgo. These are the days of month framed for getting tasks completed and getting your life in order. Sunday is a white circle day, an especially dreamy good one. The Sun sextiles Neptune and Jupiter sextiles the Moon. This is an easeful day, one inviting big thoughts.
Monday through Wednesday, May 25-27, the Moon is in Libra. Our attention turns to love and beauty. Give some extra attention to your romantic partner. Tuesday is a powerful day for accomplishment as the Sun trines Pluto and the Moon opposes Saturn. We are reminded of our responsibilities and have the planetary help to power through them. The Moon is void of course all day Wednesday until 5:52 p.m., fostering a better day for routine tasks rather than meetings and connections, and decisions.
Thursday and Friday, May 28-29, the Moon is in Scorpio. This is the time of the month when feelings run deep, and we want to withdraw from the world and claim some private time. Venus squares Saturn, commanding commitment to partnership and financial responsibilities.
Saturday through Monday, May 30-June 1, the Moon is in Sagittarius. These are optimistic days for adventure. There’s a bounce in your step and a desire to explore and expand your horizons. The Moon is void of course all day Sunday and Monday which is a long time for a void Moon, one that makes no major aspects. Void Moons are opportunities to tend to insignificant, routine tasks, cook, tend the garden, or read. They are not good for making connections or decisions. Shopping is best avoided except for routine grocery shopping, as decisions are unclear and you may change your mind later. If you are meeting up with others there may be delays or misses.
_________
Planetary Pointers for the week ahead:
· Plan ahead for the long void Moons: All day Wednesday, June 27, and Sunday and Monday, May 31-June 1. These days are best for insignificant, routine tasks. Connections may be delayed or may be compromised.
· Take a short trip.
· Read and be curious.
· Connect with siblings and neighbors

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
