The Sun shines in Gemini tropically through June 21. Travel, communication, connection, and curiosity are highlighted.

The week begins with a Full Moon early Sunday, May 31, at 1:45 a.m. PDT, at 8:14 degrees of Sagittarius. This Full Moon is a Blue Moon, the second Full Moon in the month. Relationships are highlighted as the period for starting new projects reaches its peak

Monday, June 1, Mercury enters Cancer where it will be until August 9. This placement will connect your thinking and feeling functions, and you may consider how to spruce up your home.

There are two long void Moon periods this week. One is Sunday, May 31, from 6:20 a.m. PDT through Monday, June 1, at 6:19 p.m. PDT. Another is from 12:50 p.m. Friday, June 5 through Saturday, June 6 at 5:42 p.m. PDT. These are times when you will find it difficult to make decisions and connections. It is best to do routine tasks such as cooking, gardening, or relaxing with a good book.

This Week:

Saturday through Monday, May 30-June 1, the Moon is in Sagittarius. These are optimistic days for adventure. There’s a bounce in your step and a desire to explore and expand your horizons.  The Moon is void of course all day Sunday and Monday which is a long time for a void Moon, one that makes no major aspects. Void Moons are opportunities to tend to insignificant, routine tasks, cook, tend the garden, or read. These void Moon days are not good for making connections or decisions. Shopping is best avoided, as decisions are unclear and you may change your mind later. If you are meeting up with others there may be delays or misses. Sagittarius loves to hike or bike and move the hips. Set out on an outdoor adventure, and move your body!

Tuesday and Wednesday, June 2 and 3, the Moon is in Capricorn. Nose to the grindstone. These are productive, industrious days. Sun sextiles Saturn on Tuesday which is good for problem solving. Wednesday Mercury squares Neptune, and as a result you may be faced with the task of sorting out the truth in a situation. Wednesday also is sprinkled with sweetness, as the Moon opposes benefic planets Venus and Jupiter.

Thursday through Saturday afternoon (5:42 pm PDT), June 4-6, the Moon is in Aquarius. These days highlight friendship and diversity. Thursday may be an intense day full of surprises. The Moon conjuncts Pluto and trines Uranus. Mercury inconjuncts Pluto, bringing focus to a matter of concern. Friday the Moon trines the Sun, both in air signs, creating a convivial night for conversation and curiosity. Juno, asteroid of marriage and partnership is stationary, ready to turn retrograde. This is a day to strengthen and enliven relationships.

Saturday evening through Monday afternoon (5:38 pm), June 6-8, the Moon is in Pisces. Sunday Venus and Mercury are trine. This is a great day to express your artistry. Paint the world with poetry and color. Venus and Jupiter are nearly conjunct. This is a day to let your love and beauty shine.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
