The week ahead is in-between the two eclipses. A partial Solar Eclipse occurs Sunday, September 21 at 12:53 p.m. PDT at 29 degrees Virgo. A Total Lunar Eclipse occurred September 7 at 15 degrees Pisces,. This is a time of big changes and shocking events, and it is particularly intense. If you have a lot going on in your life, you are in step with the cosmos! You may be sorting through your life looking at what you want to let go or change. Be compassionate with others who may be dealing with big shifts. Plan to keep your life simple again for the week ahead until these two eclipses have passed.
The Sun still shines in Virgo tropically for one more week. Thus, there is still time to clean up your diet, your home and car, and get rid of clutter. Put your life in order. Virgo loves to improve itself, striving for neatness and efficiency.
Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are all now in retrograde motion. This energy is more internalized and invites us to reconsider our projects and options.
Pluto is now out-of-bounds, and for a long period of time for the next ten years. A planet is out-of-bounds when its declination is more than 23:16 north or south of the ecliptic. When a planet is out-of-bounds it is erratic, unleashed, and unlimited. This is rare, as Pluto will not be out-of-bounds after 2035 for next few thousand years. Pluto is in a southern declination, signaling the uprising of people, versus an uprising of dictators when it is in the northern direction. The last time Pluto was out-of-bounds in a southern direction was 1775-1796 when the Revolutionary War raged and the revolutionaries colonized North America.
This week, in-between eclipses and with Pluto out-of-bounds, is a time of great consequence and change.

The Week Ahead:
Saturday through Sunday (5:29 p.m. PDT), September 12-14, the Moon is in Gemini. Saturday the Moon squares the South Node/Mercury/Sun conjunction. It is a day for conversations and generating ideas. Sunday the Moon squares the Saturn/Neptune conjunction. Although you may prefer to escape, you will be better served facing your responsibilities.
Monday and Tuesday, September 15-16, the Moon is in Cancer. Our focus turns to home and family. Venus and Mars are sextile, providing a cauldron for creative manifestation. Use this energy to move a project forward or to formulate something that is on your wish list, combining your intuition and desires with your practical mind. On Tuesday the Moon conjuncts Jupiter, giving an extra boost to what you set in motion on Monday.
Wednesday and Thursday, September 17-18, the Moon is in Leo. Mercury is exactly opposite Saturn, giving mental focus and determination. Saturn, Mars, and Venus form a yod, giving extra energy to your intentional direction. On Thursday Mercury exactly opposes Neptune. You can continue to refine and shape the project(s) that you set in motion earlier in the week.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 2:40 p.m., September 19-21, the Moon is in Virgo. These are the days of the month to clean things up and put your life in order. On Friday Venus moves into Virgo, helping the clean-up cause. On Saturday the Moon conjuncts the South Node. Someone from your past may re-connect, or there could be some sort of karmic reckoning. The Sun opposes Saturn, directing us to face our responsibilities and challenges. Also, Venus squares Uranus which may stir things up and offer up something different and unexpected. Sunday at 12:53 p.m. PDT the New Moon forms a partial Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees Virgo. Go easy and mindfully, as the planetary energy is intense.
Sunday at 2:40 pm through Monday, September 21-22, the Moon is in Libra. Sunday afternoon the Moon moves into Libra, forming a Grand Air Trine with Uranus and Pluto, and opposing the Saturn-Neptune conjunction. This is a powerful aspect for generative conversations. Innovative ideas will abound. Long-standing problems may be solved with fresh perspectives. New commitments may be forged.

Moon Void of Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it is difficult to make good decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together, and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. We more easily get lost or meander in trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
